I haven't read a recent printed fanzine for the last 4 years (or so), but based on this, its' seems that the reviewer are associating info on what they learned on the internet than what they actually see, heard and experienced first hand...I hope the reviewer had actually take hold of the 8 releases of Hate Vanishing Point and 6 releases of of Pagkakamali nang Panahon....because if yes; he can surely identify what is special on this 7" (which will remain only on those who actually heard this)...anyway, just my opinion...

yeah, that is the downside of the internet, too much information is available and more often than not, that information is used negatively..everyone is entitled to their opinion, whatever the fuck it maybe..

Yeah guys, I'm the editor and I also add the review to Metal Archives. I'm doing the zine in order to spread information about bands I interview/review (so far around 500 copies of the 2nd issue and around 400 of the 3rd issue spread worldwide and keep printing both every time I run out of stock) and if someone comes across my review in MA and discovers the band through it - I think that my aim is closer to being accomplished, isn't it? Those who score the zine will enjoy more anyway, since as a content manager who works 8-10 hours a day in front of the screen - I know how much it's nicer to read from paper! I've read in different places (not only in the internet) that Paganfire recycles the same songs again and again, so I made a small research in the internet, before I wrote the review. Fortunately I have access to this tool and don't need to spend my money on 14 releases, just to discover that the songs are +/- the same. And I'd better buy 14 different releases of different bands, rather than 14 releases featuring the same songs, just to discover that... Let me guess - the stuff on the 7" is a different recording?

PAGANFIRE's cooperation with different underground entities is our way to spread our music. We choose it to spread it in a "tangible" or "hard copy" way...rather than post it to internet for people to stream or download (and not everybody have internet access)...Even I don't have a copy of the compilations and some releases that PAGANFIRE has been involved with...if you want new PAGANFIRE stuff...you can download it here ...then be ready to discover the songs on it in many versions (again) on compilations, tapes, CDs, CDr, vinyl, etc in due time...
